Balázs Bámer got his diploma (Masters) of Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest (TUB) in 2001. He spent a year on the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg as fellow researcher and software developer. He has been working in the Computer and Automation Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2002. His main field of interest are concurrent computing, multimedia, simulation and databases.
