Server History
After six-month experiment with the first WWW server of the MTA SZTAKI, Budapest, Hungary, initiated July 1994, installed and maintained by László Kovács (laszlo.kovacs@sztaki.hu), this is the official Web server of the Institute maintained by the Distributed Systems Deparment.
Server Metamorphosis
(links are not valid)- Experimental server was opened on July, 1994. (NeXTStation, 32 MB RAM, 1.2 GB disk)
- First design of this server was opened on Sun Feb 26, 1995 (Sun Sparcserver 2000)
- Second design of this server Sep 01, 1995
- Third graphical design since Aug 27, 1996
